Captain Name: Filippo Pansera

Captain Nationality: Italian

Number of Crew: 3

Filippo Pansera, Captain of the Wally 80 “Aori” since 2021, is driven by a true passion for the sea. “I sail for personal pleasure, to increase nautical culture and to study traditions, technicalities and myths”. With these words, Filippo describes his vocation for sailing.
Since his childhood, Captain Filippo has shown a keen interest in team management.
His experience in the nautical industry started in 2006 onboard boats of about 50 ft with the role of commander. After the Atlantic Ocean Passage on a Southern Wind 72ft, Filippo has worked as captain on board the Swan 62 “Alula ” where he had full autonomy about yacht decision, crew, maintenance and operations.
The basis for the success of Filippo is based on correct communication and listening. Among his qualities, empathy is the key that helps him better managing the safety and success of the whole team.
