Captain Name: Clay Corbin
Captain Nationality: USA
Number of Crew: 2
Captain Clayton grew up in a small town in the mid-west United States. Upon graduating High School, he set out on the high seas to travel the world, courtesy of the United States Navy. The sea and all things nautical would direct his path around the world. After a career serving as a Meteorologist and Oceanographer he and his wife decided to continue their travels cruising the world on their sailboat. Having become a sailing instructor in 2002 he continued to hone his skills in the busy sailing community of San Diego Bay Yacht racing and has been an avid sailor and cruiser ever since. Over the years, Captain Clayton has cruised the Caribbean, Mexico and the South Pacific Ocean, becoming an avid free diver and spear fisherman in the process. He and His wife live full time aboard their Lagoon 380 and continuously pursue a life at sea!
Briley E. Corbin (born January 24, 2000) is a two-time graduate from The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and a Personal Chef on Paradise Yacht Management’s brand-new Bali 5.4 Catamaran “Ithaka”. She holds a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Certification in addition to the ServSafe and ServSafe Allergen Certifications. Briley is the daughter of Captain Clayton Corbin and grew up to be an avid sailor herself, crossing the Pacific in a Catalina 42 with her parents. Aside from cruising and cuisine, Briley delights in being an amateur novelist and tabletop gamer.
