      LONE STAR Chartering Accommodations

*10 guests will be considered on a case by case basis depending on the makeup of the group (primarily with kids as additional).
Upon entry aboard LONE STAR via the AFT DECK, a comfortable al fresco dining area for 10 is well positioned and uncrowded. An easily accessed service area with fridge/ ice maker provides efficient service for guests. Moving inside to the main SALON, beautiful hardwood floors with plush carpet accents and two sofas to port and starboard facing inward provide a vast yet inviting lounge area. A walk-up bar and large flat screen TV are located most aft while a small marble topped service island separates the salon from the formal DINING. The wide guest passages as well as the exterior walkaround decks give the feel of a much larger yacht and open up the spacial arrangements when navigating from one end of the yacht to the other.

A total of 5 STATEROOMS are offered to guests featuring a versatile arrangement to fit any set of guests needs. The on-deck MASTER provides a large full beam suite with Sleep Number King bed and 180 degree views. The ensuite Master bathroom is located down a set of blue ice marble steps with central frosted glass shower featuring built in marble seat, a large closet and head that can be privatized.

Below Deck guests have their choice of 4 out of 5 staterooms. The remaining serves as the Captain’s cabin. Forward a large aft facing VIP features a Queen berth offering plenty of guest storage. Amid ship are mirrored starboard and port twins both with pullmans and optional child railings. Finally, a set of mirrored Queen berths are located to the starboard and port side aft. All staterooms are equipped with en suite facilities, and flatscreen TV with individual satellite receivers.

Access the FLYBRIDGE via the raised pilothouse or the wide aft deck stairs to your favorite spot in the shade or with a bit of sun. Two elongated tables are aligned to comfortable seat 10-12 for dining, cocktails or just to enjoy a bit of study on the local charts featured as conversation pieces, all in an air conditioned environment if preferred. Across from this is a full seated bar, drop down TV and top of the line BBQ Grill. Furthest aft is a seating area with 3 solid wood chaise lounges, umbrellas and a starboard positioned heavy duty Jacuzzi. For a more secluded oasis while at anchor or slow cruising, take a walk to the FOREDECK where a double sunbed offers comfortable unobscured views.

Certificates: USCG Masters 200 GRT / STCW / Open Water Diver

Kevin hails from Sudbury, Ontario Canada where he lived until the young age of 16 when he left home to pursue a career in professional hockey. Kevin found himself in Brantford, Ontario Canada playing Junior A hockey. It was here that met his wife Cindy. Two short years later, Kevin was drafted to the Calgary Flames in the NHL and for the next 16 years he and Cindy travelled the world together with his hockey career.

Kevin and his family would spend off seasons living aboard their own boat, cruising and fishing the Great Lakes and North Channel in Canada before he and Cindy made their way South to explore the Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico and Florida’s Coastal Waters.

In 2002, Kevin and Cindy moved to Marco Island, FL where Kevin obtained his General Contracting License and ran a successful construction company until 2018 when he was presented with the opportunity to return to the ocean as the Captain of LONE STAR.

Kevin and Cindy have been married for 37 years. They have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. When not working Kevin enjoys boating with his grandchildren, golfing, fishing, biking, hiking and pretty much any outdoor activity.

Cindy was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario Canada. She met her husband, Captain Kevin in high school and the two have not stopped travelling and exploring since. Together they followed Kevin’s professional hockey career and along with their two sons have lived all over the United States, Austria, Milan, Germany and Switzerland. Their boys were skiing the Swiss Alps at ages two and four; truly a wonderful experience for the whole family.

Once Kevin retired from hockey, Cindy found she could not give up a life of travel and found her way to a Canadian Airline flying all over Europe, Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. It was here where Cindy found a joy in meeting new people. Eventually a move to Marco Island, FL in 2002 introduced Cindy to Real Estate. Cindy became a successful Real Estate Agent in the area and worked alongside Kevin in his construction business. Cindy and Kevin have raised two sons who now have children of their own.

Together, Cindy and Kevin have been boating since the young age of 17, cruising and fishing the Great Lakes, North Channel in Canada, Bahamas and Florida’s Coastal waters and have developed an unmatched sense of teamwork.

When not working, Cindy enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, biking and hiking and keeping fit.
