Captain: Daniele Malinconico
Nationality: Italian

Ever since Captain Daniele could remember, the sea felt like home to him. In his youth he was actively involved in dinghy races and became a professional race crew member.

He started his maritime career at the age of 18 and acquired extensive experience navigating all over the Mediterranean, North Atlantic, Canary Islands, South America and the Caribbean. Constantly upgrading his skills and qualifications, in 2013 Daniele successfully obtained RYA certificates of competence enabling him to work as a Captain.

At the helm of 19th Hole since 2016, Captain Daniele is happy to show all the secluded bays, safest exclusive anchorages and the most beautiful surroundings of the Mediterranean to his guests.

Deckhand: Manuel
Nationality: Italian
Languages: English, Italian (native speaker)

Manuel grew up developing his manual and repairing skills by renewing antique furniture and paintings, then switching to boats. In 2009 he embarked on a voyage as a charter guest, which turned his entire life around. He fell in love with sailing so he decided to complete professional sailing courses and start a life at sea.

After gaining his master’s degree, he sailed away to participate in numerous sailing boat expeditions, having logged more than 20 000 nm.

Manuel looks forward to welcoming guests on board 19th Hole and strives to provide the best possible service. Intuitive with guests needs and quick to satisfy their requests, Manuel keeps a smile on his face even after a hard day because he loves his job.

Chef: Monica
Nationality: Italian
Languages: English, Italian (native speaker)

Monica started her working career helping her grandmother in their family restaurant in the center of Rome, called “La Fontanella”. This well-known restaurant was always busy and any help was much appreciated, so after school Monica often helped out in the kitchen or waited tables. A few years later she advanced her skills following culinary courses and internships throughout Italy.

This combined with her solid work experience on luxury yachts made Monica a highly skilled, flexible and creative Chef with an immense attention to details.

She is a gifted Chef with a true passion for food and constant quest for culinary perfection. Her guests will indulge in authentic Italian delectables and true Mediterranean cuisine with the freshest and healthiest ingredients.

Monica has an outgoing personality and gets along well with children of all ages. She loves to make people smile and always strives to deliver only the best when it comes to her cuisine and service.
