Captain: Pavlos Barakas (Greek)
Pavlos is 43 years old and has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Syros in 1998. In his past experience he has worked in several tankers and cargo ships. He joined the Superyacht industry with great enthusiasm in 2003 and ever since he has been working in both private and charter yachts with success. Captain Pavlos is an expert with the Greek islands and will make sure that the guests will be fully spoiled onboard, as to meet with charterers’s expectations make his job a real pleasure! In his free time, he enjoys football and fishing. Speaks Greek and English.

Engineer: Alexis Mortakis (Greek)
Alexis is 39 years old and holds a B’ class diploma after graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy. He also holds a Certificate in Firefighting, First Aid and Lifesaving. In the beginning of his career, he has worked in tanker, cargo and passengers’ ships but he was captivated by yachting in 2014 and even since he has been working onboard yachts. His energetic character and professionalism is a bonus to Anamel’s engine room. Speaks Greek and English.

Olga is 45 years old and is a certified pastry, cooking and wineology specialist. The freedom of creativity to cook her dishes onboard without any limits or fixed menus, attracted her to the yachting world many years ago. Being passionate also about tradition, Olga loves to prepare for the guests’ pleasure unique homemade specialties, using the very fresh local ingredients available. Although she is a Mediterranean cuisine expert, Olga is always excited to learn new techniques and willing to create recipes for all eating habits and dietary restrictions. Her handmade bread and ice-creams are a must onboard Anamel! When not working, Olga likes travelling and exploring different cuisines. Speaks Greek, English and Italian (basic).

Deckhand: George Demian-Ibrahim (Greek)
George is 23 years old and holds a Mechanical Engineer diploma and a deckhand license. He has started his yachting career few years ago, as his passion was always the sea. His positive and pleasant character makes him enjoy every moment of his yachting life. Being an energetic person, he loves helping the more active guests with all kind of water sports. Outside work, George enjoys kick-boxing and going to the gym. Speaks Greek, English and Arabic (basic).
