Captain: John Collington – O’Malley

John was born in 1991 and he is half South African and half Greek. He started his career in 2015 as a dive instructor and was working for three years as deckhand in several sailing yachts in the Seychelles. In 2018, he had gained enough experience to move to the captain’s position but he was always true to his love for diving, working parallel as a dive instructor. He holds his RYA yacht master offshore certificate and power boat level 2, medical certificates and the STCW ’95. He holds PADI OWSI plus Specialty and is first aid Instructor. As a PADI instructor he was working for 3 years as a cruise director for expedition vessels. He is highly motivated in advancing his qualifications and experience in the hopes of becoming a captain of research/ expedition vessels due to his strong love for the ocean and teaching. His kind nature and warm personality make guests immediately feel welcome on board. He is responsible, a team player and adaptable to any kind of situations. He speaks English and Africaans.

Chef: Eirini Kaparou

From the heart of Athens Irini started her culinary career in small greek restaurants as a waitress. She studied Architecture in the University of Patras, but after her studies, she decided she wants to follow the culinary career. She was born in 1988, she speaks English, some Spanish and a little bit of French.
Her passion is judo, travelling and of course cooking! Team working, is one of her strengths. She always trying to evolve and she’s very communicative both with adults and children. Thus, she is the perfect person to have on board.

Deckhand/ Stew: Errikos Duimering

Errikos is half Dutch and half Greek and grew up in Greece. He is a person with many talents from barman to event manager to interior decorator. He has tried them all out before following his passion for sailing and traveling. He is a very calm person, reliable, hard-working and easily adaptable. His guests will get to know him as the multi-tasking person on board always ready to assist in their every need! He speaks English, Dutch and Greek fluently.
