Number of Crew: 3

Captain: Thomas McKinnell
Nationality: British
Languages: English

Experienced and enthusiastic, Captain Tom has been involved in sailing and motor boating from a young age and prior to starting on super yachts, worked professionally in Southampton skippering, sailing, racing, instructing and maintaining boats.
On his previous boat he covered over 35000 NM including 4 Atlantic crossings, a voyage to the Arctic Circle/Norway, the British Isles, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific. Apart from sailing, Tom loves diving, skiing, wake boarding, cycling and American football.
Responsible and attentive, he takes great pride in creating tailor-made sailing experience for each charter on board DIANA.

Chef: Gemma Harris
Nationality: British
Languages: English

Gemma’s passion for the sea and cooking landed her into the yachting industry five years ago. Working on board luxury yachts as a Chef and Stewardess, she has learnt the ropes quite fast and advanced in preparing delicious and healthy seasonal dishes and managing the yacht’s interior to a high standard. Her bespoke menu is full of exquisite tastes and tempting aromas with an abundance of fresh local produce.
In addition to cooking and sailing, Gemma developed a true love for the underwater environment and progressed to a PADI instructor.
An efficient and organised crew member, she is happy to design an ideal charter experience.

Stewardess: Claire Chapple
Nationality: New Zealander
Languages: English

Growing up in New Zealand and studying graphic design at university, Claire first entered the yachting industry as a graphic designer for a sailing company in Greece. With a love of the active lifestyle, water sports, especially kitesurfing, she chose a job on board over the one in an office. During her time spent working on charter yachts, Claire discovered her passion for cooking which she has honed into a fine art, preparing beautifully presented tasty meals.
A meticulous hostess and a welcoming person, Claire will ensure that each moment spent on board DIANA is nothing short of spectacular.
