Robert Crocker – Captain
Captain Rob was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. He currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to yachting, Capt. Rob worked at his family business as a Journeyman, meat cutter and produce buyer. He got into the yachting industry by flying to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and worked towards a 50-ton license. He wanted to explore the world. He obtained his Master 1600 ton with Master of Tow and Sailing Endorsement. His goals and aspirations are exercise, eating healthy, finding windy spots to windsurf and travel cross-country with his wife and dogs. His favorite places include Maine and St. John US Virgin Islands. He lived there for 9 years. He also enjoys New Zealand. Capt. Rob’s hobbies and interests are wind-surfing, diving, hiking and wood-boat schooner sailing. He enjoys seeing marine and wildlife creatures. He rescues dogs and adopts them into new homes. He also enjoys being socially active with people and showing them adventurous places in the world. Captain Rob is a true professional who will fill any yacht charter with special memories and is an asset to our team Endeavour!

Rody Cruz – Chief Stew
Rody is of Spanish origin and grew up in the Caribbean. She started sailing around Puerto Rico & Spanish Virgin Islands on her sailboat “Truth or Dare”, a 30’ Janneau. Her passion for adventure and exploration of international cultures, art and cuisine has taken her to experience beautiful sights and tastes ranging from Palma de Mallorca, Monaco, Italy, to the US East coast in Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod and Caribbean. She is very geographically versed in Puerto Rico, BVI’s, Cuba, Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico. She will make sure your trip is full of great memories accommodating the best for you and your guests. Rody’s hobbies include ballet dancing, tennis, golf, movies, reading and sailing. She exudes warmth and friendliness from the moment you meet her. She is a great asset to team Jopaju and will make you feel welcome the moment you step on board!

Ryan Bradley – Mate / Engineer
Ryan was born and raised in South Florida. Prior to yachting he was a Diesel Marine Mechanic locally based. He got into yachting because he had an interest in using his mechanical experience and incorporate it into a career where he would be able to travel the world and meet new people. He currently holds his 200 Ton License. His favorite places that he has traveled to has been New York, Washington D.C. and recently London, England. He enjoys experiencing the views of life in other countries and hopes to do more of it in the near future. Ryan’s hobbies include Brazilian Jujitsu, Muey Thai and any outdoor activities. He always has a smile on his face and his sweet demeanor and friendliness is an asset to team Jopaju!

Lauren Hockenberry – Deck Stew
Lauren was born and raised in Hedgesville, West Virginia. Prior to yachting, she was in the hospitality industry working as a server and doing wedding events and coordination. She was also a Nanny. Lauren is new to yachting but she grew up on the river with a small boat so the next step was to move forward to bigger boats in the ocean. Her education includes 2 years of College. Her goals and aspirations down the road include becoming a Mate. The Bahamas is on the top of her list of favorite places. Her hobbies and interests include sports, camping, water activities, painting and volleyball. She has an awesome dog that she leaves back home and can’t wait to visit when she comes back! Lauren’s bubbly personality resonates throughout and she will make any guest feel at home and welcome. She is a great asset to Team Jopaju!

Drew Schreiner – Chef (freelance)
Chef Drew is a creative, versatile chef with over 20 years of experience in restaurants, private homes, unique events, and on-board yachts. Chef Drew is an avid traveler who has an adventurous palette and flair for international cuisine. He has worked in kitchens in U.S., England, and Melbourne, Australia and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Caribbean, England, Europe, Colombia, Australia, and New Zealand. He developed a passion for cooking at an early age, often standing on a chair to help his great grandmother in the kitchen. His great grandmother, grandmother, and mother are/were all chefs. Chef Drew is a Chicago native and a graduate of The Culinary Arts School at Kendall College in Chicago, which included an internship under four-star Chef Paul Bartolotta of Spiaggia Restaurant. Upon graduating from culinary school, he moved to Colorado where he began his first Head Chef position. After finishing the winter season, he decided to take his skills abroad, and moved to the North of England. A year later, he moved south to London where he worked at the Royal Opera House, The Royal Courts of Justice, and Waterstone’s in Piccadilly for 3 years. In 2005, he moved to Melbourne, Australia where he cooked in various restaurants and broadened his international food repertoire. He returned to the U.S. in 2007 and moved to Vail, Colorado where he opened the Arrabelle Hotel in Lionshead Village. After 3 years in Vail, he migrated to San Francisco where he cooked for the 2012 World Series Champion Giants baseball team. The yachting industry took him to south Florida and shifted his focus to be a private chef. Chef Drew also specializes in developing customized meal plans for clientele with specific dietary restrictions & goals, including: paleo, keto, elimination, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and Kosher. He is passionate about supporting local farmers and utilizing only high quality, organic, healthy, nutritional, sustainable ingredients.
