Job description: Responsible for the navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, the crew and the guests. Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. Takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel policies. Provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Back in the 1980s, Alexandre took his first steps in the hospitality industry as chef de partie in the 4 star Royal Casino Hotel in Mandelieu, where he worked for seven years. Between 1993 and 1995 he worked as chef de cuisine in the Cannes Beach Residence in Mandelieu and in the hotel and restaurant Le Chateau du Dauphin in Le Cannet, where he catered for weddings and other special events for up to 80 guests. For the next 3 years he was head chef with French Riviera Boat Cannes, preparing buffets, cocktail parties and events for up to 150 guests. In 1998 Alexandre then went on to become head chef and later general manager in Triomphe Bar and Brasserie in Cannes, staying until 2007. Before joining the yachting industry, he also took over the position as maitre dhotel in the 4star Canberra Hotel & restaurant in Cannes.
Alexandre joined the yachting industry in 2010 and has been working as chef on board motor yachts of up to 47m, amongst them the charter yachts MABRUK III, 2 Ladies & MARTELLO. Besides treating guests during charter cruises with his healthy and tasty dishes, he also prepared lunch and cocktails for up to 70 persons during events such as the MIPIM in Cannes and the Monaco Grand Prix. He joined MAGIC CAT in May 2016.

Kateryna took her first steps in the yachting industry in 2007 and has been gaining valuable experience as stewardess on board numerous motor yachts of up to 100 meters since then, amongst them the 90m charter yacht LAUREN L and 65m TRIDENT. Thanks to these previous employments, she is au fait with any tasks that may arise for a stewardess on board a large charter yacht. Whether it comes to room service, provisioning, laundry or to silver service, table settings and interior detailing, she does it all with a keen eye for detail. This together with her exemplary work attitude and excellent presentation skills, make her the ideal addition to the highly qualified crew on board MAGIC CAT.
