      Having started his career in the French Merchant Navy, Jacques has a strong mechanics background and has held several positions as chief engineer on vessels ranging from yachts to ferries. The training and persistence led him to be captain of Amera,
      a Canados 80 in 2005, until he joined Beija Flore two years later. Eleven years on board Beija Flore has proven Jacques to be a loyal, hardworking and reliable Captain. He is dedicated in all aspects of his responsibilities, he is popular with guests and crew alike
      and loves water sports!

      CHEF: Corinne Demol – French
      Joined Winter 2018
      Having trained in some of the best Gastronomic restaurants, Corinne has been passionate about food from a very young age and grew up cooking at home alongside her mother and grandmother. Her love for food, travel and the sea, lead her to the yachting industry, where the ideal mix suits her dynamic personality perfectly.
      Corinne spent 4 years on board the popular charter yacht Beija Flore wowing guests with her cuisine.

      CHIEF STEWARDESS: Eline Stora – French
      Joined Spring 2019
      Eline has worked in the yachting industry and in high-end hospitality since 2011 and has a natural flare for “service with a smile’!
      A total all-rounder, and a polyglot (she speaks 5 languages) Eline’s previous crew positions have been as both deck/stew on M/Y Mr Francisco (30m) and cook/stew on M/Y Leonora of St. Tropez, where she cooked for up to 20 guests at a time. Last season Eline was stewardess on the 28m M/Y Beija Flore and she now joins SALT as Chief Stewardess, she is looking forward to a successful Summer season.
      When she isn’t on board Eline loves to travel and has completed several adventurous overland trips in Africa, Brazil, Peru, China Thailand and Egypt. Previous Yachts: M/Y Mr Francisco (30m), M/Y Leonora of St Tropez,, M/Y Beija Flore (28m)

      Athina describes herself as energetic, hardworking and bubbly. Growing up in the South of France and completely bi-lingual, she has been surrounded by family that work in the industry and is very knowledgeable. Previously Athina has been stewardess onboard M/Y Beija Flore (28m) and plenty of short-term contracts on vessels ranging from 28m to 50m. Now joining M/Y Salt and with extensive work experience in high-end hospitality, childcare and retail, she is a perfect match for this vibrant crew. She is ready to take on any challenge that comes her way and complete each task with a smile. Athina loves art and to travel and discover the world.

      DECKHAND: Thomas Rekawicz – French
      Joined Spring 2019
      Thomas has worked in yachting since he was 15 years of age and this being the second time he works under the command of Captain Jacques, he remains passionate and proud of the career path he has carved so far.
      During the last 6 years, through determination and hard work, Thomas has learnt plenty of skills that compliment his status on board and has good knowledge of electrics, hydraulics, carpentry, varnishing and of course navigation.
      Thomas has an outgoing but discrete nature which works to his advantage both with his fellow crew members and guests alike and he is always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.
      Thomas admits that he is sports mad! Spare time is always spent either in the water or up in the mountains.
