Captain Name: Keanna Rink
Captain Nationality: Canada
Number of Crew: 2
Captain: Keanna Rink
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Keanna knew from a very early age that her future was on the water. Keanna has sailed throughout Southeast Asia, across the Indian Ocean, and down the coast of South Africa. She has worked in the Cayman Islands as a dive instructor, and in the British Virgin Islands as a skipper, where she logged thousands of miles teaching cruising courses, guiding dives, and running charters. During the summer, Keanna runs her own sailing company in Vancouver, BC – Venture BC. Keanna is always excited to give her guests a real hands on experience – letting you take the helm and adjust the sails. She will teach you sailing theory, how to navigate with paper charts, or happily take over while you sit back and relax. She looks forward to showing her guests the hidden gems of the BVI.
Chef/Mate: Marianne Secrest
Marianne was raised with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which led her to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Forestry, majoring in Natural Resource Management, from the University of British Columbia. Marianne has worked in Ecuador as a biology field technician, and in British Columbia as a Spotted Owl Biologist. She spent years immersed in the Canadian wilderness studying endangered owls and their habitat. When she wasn’t in the woods, she worked as an educator teaching school groups about ecology and biodiversity. More recently, Marianne has been working in the event industry, creating custom carpentry products for clients seeking a personal touch. Marianne is looking forward to sharing her knowledge about the local flora & fauna, as well as preparing her guests delicious meals and beverages.
